One critical trend occurring in this country is the lack of primary care professionals and clinics. Each year, more and more patients enter the health care system, which is why the real and immediate demand for routine care services continues to grow.
The shortage of quality primary care is especially true in North Carolina, which has one of the nation’s biggest shortages. One industry report estimates that the state will need a 31% increase in primary care physicians by 2030 to accommodate current trends.
